Scriptorium Half–Renovated

We had some work done on our scriptorium/library this week. At long last, most of our books are out of packing cases and at home on new oak bookshelves. This photo shows only one side of the room. The bookshelves for the other side have yet to be built. Given that our cells are still very makeshift and much in need of work, this renovated room gives us a suitable place to do lectio divina and to study.
