More of what we have done thus far 25 March 2014 Here is the little oratory for the private Masses of visiting priests. It is not yet complete, but we are eager to see it fully furnished, decorated, and equipped. It will be dedicated to the Holy Angels. “Let all guests that come be received like Christ Himself, for He will say: “I was a stranger and ye took Me in.” And let fitting honour be shewn to all, especially to such as are of the household of the faith, and to strangers. ” (Rule of Saint Benedict, Chapter LIII) Here is one of the new guestrooms for retreatants. The rooms for retreatants are clean, bright, and welcoming. Rest, reading, and prayer are integral to a time of spiritual respite. The combination of wood and natural light makes for a pleasant space in which to rest and pray. This little room is used for spiritual conversation and conferences.
