“Behold this Heart, which, not withstanding the burning love for man with which it is consumed and exhausted, meets with no other return from the generality of Christians than sacrilege, contempt, indifference, and ingratitude, even in the Sacrament of my Love. But what pierces my Heart most deeply is, that I am subjected to those insults by persons specially consecrated to my service.”

ENTRANCE ANTIPHON
GR
The thoughts of His Heart stand from generation to generation:
that He might deliver their souls from death,
and feed them in times of famine (Ps 32:11, 19).
V. Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous;
praise befits those who are upright (Ps 32:1).

Or:
MR
Come, bride of Christ, receive the crown
which the Lord has prepared for you forever.

ACT OF PENITENCE
Brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins,
that we may be ready to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
Lord Jesus, Your Heart is the source of all consolation.
Kyrie, eleison.
Christ Jesus, Your Heart is our life and resurrection.
Christe, eleison.
Lord Jesus, Your Heart is our peace and reconciliation.
Kyrie, eleison.
May Almighty God have mercy on us,
and lead us, with our sins forgiven,
into eternal life.

COLLECT
Pour forth upon us,
we beseech you, O Lord,
the spirit with which you enriched Saint Margaret Mary
in so unique a way;
that we may able to know the love of Christ
which surpasses all knowledge,
and be filled with all the fullness that is yours.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, forever and ever.

COLLECT AT THE GENERAL INTERCESSIONS
Almighty and ever-living God
who revealed to Saint Margaret Mary
the Sacred Heart of Jesus on fire with love for men,
grant us, we beseech you,
an abundant share in her spirit of confidence and reparation.
Through Christ our Lord.

GENERAL INTERCESSIONS
That the Church in every place,
being rooted and founded in charity,
may draw all men and women
to the love that ever flows from the pierced Heart of Jesus,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.

That all world leaders of good will
may be strengthened inwardly
to seek the things that make for peace,
and to do what is right,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.

That those who are bowed down by the sorrows of life,
beset with fear, or tempted to despair,
may find in the Sacred Heart of Jesus
an unfailing source of refreshment, of healing, and of hope,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.

That families may be given peace;
that the afflicted may be consoled;
that priests may be given the grace to touch the most hardened hearts;
and that sinners may find in the Heart of Jesus an infinite ocean of mercy,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.

That the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
sustained by the intercession of their patroness, Saint Margaret Mary,
may hold fast to their vocation of reparation to the Heart of Jesus,
and of apostolic zeal,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.

That we who have been led by the Holy Spirit
to fix our gaze upon the wound in the Heart of Christ,
may be given the power to comprehend with all the saints
what is the breadth and length and height and depth
of the love with which God first loved us,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.

OFFERTORY ANTIPHON
GR
My heart expected insult and wretchedness;
I looked for one to grieve with me, but there was none,
I sought one to comfort me, and found none.
They gave me gall to eat and, in my thirst, vinegar to drink (Ps 68:21-22).

PRAYER OVER THE OFFERINGS
Lord, receive the worship that, in our lowliness,
we set before you
on this memorial of the blessed virgin, Margaret Mary;
by this spotless offering,
grant that we may be set ablaze
with a love that is both tender and holy in your sight.
Through Christ our Lord.

PREFACE
It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks,
Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God,
through Christ our Lord.
When, with a wondrous love,
he was lifted up on the Cross,
he handed himself over for us;
then from his pierced side he poured forth blood and water,
the source of the sacraments of the Church;
Thus all people, drawn to the open heart of the Saviour,
may ever draw water with joy
from the springs of salvation.
And so, with all the Saints and Angels,
we praise you together,
as we ceaselessly proclaim:

COMMUNION ANTIPHON
MR
One thing have I asked of the Lord, for this I long,
to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life (Ps 26:4).
Or:
MR
One of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a lance,
and at once there flowed out blood and water (Jn 19:34).

PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION
Refreshed with bread from heaven,
we humbly entreat your mercy, Lord:
may we who rejoice on this memorial of Saint Margaret Mary
receive pardon for our offenses,
health for our bodies,
and grace with endless glory for our souls.
Through Christ our Lord.
