{"id":4138,"date":"2012-05-13T22:23:42","date_gmt":"2012-05-13T22:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vultuschristi.org\/index.php\/2012\/05\/on-behalf-of-all-thy-priests\/"},"modified":"2017-12-17T06:46:20","modified_gmt":"2017-12-17T06:46:20","slug":"on-behalf-of-all-thy-priests","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vultuschristi.org\/index.php\/2012\/05\/on-behalf-of-all-thy-priests\/","title":{"rendered":"On behalf of all Thy priests"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vultuschristi.org\/Knock_shrine.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"mt-image-center\" style=\"text-align: center; display: block; margin: 0 auto 20px;\" src=\"https:\/\/vultuschristi.org\/assets_c\/2012\/05\/Knock_shrine-thumb-450x337-11676.jpg\" alt=\"Knock_shrine.JPG\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThis evening here in Knock, it was very humbling, and an immense joy to hear thirty or more priests from various parts of Ireland pray together the <em>Act of Adoration for Priests<\/em> with which we begin our time of adoration in the monastery each day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Act of Adoration for Priests<\/strong><br \/>\nLord Jesus Christ, Priest and Victim,<br \/>\nbehold, I kneel before Thy Eucharistic Face<br \/>\non behalf of all Thy priests,<br \/>\nand especially those priests of Thine,<br \/>\nwho at this moment are most in need<br \/>\nof Thy grace.<br \/>\n(N. and N.)<br \/>\nFor them and in their place,<br \/>\nallow me to remain,<br \/>\nadoring and full of confidence,<br \/>\nclose to Thy Open Heart,<br \/>\nhidden in this, the Sacrament of Thy Love.<br \/>\nThrough the Maternal and Immaculate<br \/>\nHeart of Mary,<br \/>\nour Advocate and the Mediatrix of All Graces,<br \/>\npour forth upon all the priests of Thy Church<br \/>\nthat torrent of mercy that ever flows<br \/>\nfrom Thy pierced side:<br \/>\nto purify and heal them,<br \/>\nto refresh and sanctify them,<br \/>\nand, at the hour of their death,<br \/>\nto make them worthy of joining Thee<br \/>\nbefore the Father in the heavenly sanctuary<br \/>\nbeyond the veil (Hb 6:19)<br \/>\nwhere Thou art always living<br \/>\nto make intercession<br \/>\nfor us (Hb 7:25).
