\nI called upon God and the spirit of wisdom came to me;

\nthat the thoughts of mortals are full of fear and uncertainty,
\nthrough the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
\nfrom whom your Son took flesh,
\ngrant us your counsel
\nthat we may be made to recognize
\nthe things that are pleasing to you
\nand be directed in all our works.
\nThrough our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
\nwho lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
\nGod, forever and ever.
\nGENERAL INTERCESSIONS
\nThat the gaze of people of every race and culture
\nmay come to rest upon the Face of Christ

\nwho gave us the Mother of your Son for our Mother,

\nBe mindful, O Virgin Mother,
\nto speak good things in the presence of God on our behalf,

\nLet the Spirit of Counsel, O Lord,
\nwho so wondrously overshadowed the Blessed Virgin, your handmaid,

\nTruly it is right and just, our duty and our salvation,
\nalways and everywhere to give you thanks,
\nLord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God.
\nHow abundantly you filled the most blessed Virgin Mary
\nwith the gifts of the Holy Spirit
\nto make her the worthy
\nmother and companion of the Redeemer!
\nFormed by these gifts
\nshe sought your will unceasingly
\nand faithfully carried it out;
\nshe joyfully magnified your mercy
\nand held fast to the counsel of your lovingkindness
\nto restore all things in Christ.
\nThrough whom the ranks of Angels adore your majesty,
\nrejoicing in eternity before your face.
