Novena to Our Lady of the Rosary and of the Cenacle<\/strong><\/div>\n
September 29 to October 7, 2009<\/strong><\/div>\n

I invite the kind readers of Vultus Christi to join me in praying this novena in preparation for the arrival of CJ and Diego who will present themselves as postulants for the Monastery of Our Lady of the Cenacle on the eve of the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.<\/em><\/p>\n

Immaculate Virgin Mary,
\nOur Lady of the Rosary,
\nQueen of the Cenacle,
\nand Mother of all who unite themselves
\nto your Immaculate Heart
\nin a prayer that is persevering and full of confidence,
\nlook graciously upon the beginnings of this little monastery
\ndedicated to you,
\nand set apart for the adoration of your Divine Son,
\nhidden in the Sacrament of His Love.
\nIntercede for the men whom you have chosen
\nto live in the radiance of the Eucharistic Face of Jesus,
\nand to abide close to His Open Heart
\ntogether with you and with Saint John the Beloved Disciple.
\nLet nothing discourage them
\nas, day by day, they seek the Face of your Son,
\nand through Him offer themselves to the Father,
\nby the grace of the Holy Spirit,
\nfor the healing and sanctification of priests.
\nKeep them humble and joyful in fidelity to the wisdom of Saint Benedict
\nand to the teachings of his Holy Rule.
\nFill their dwelling with the sweet fragrance of your virginizing presence
\nso that all who enter there
\nmay experience the happiness of the pure in heart
\nand the joy of those whose sins have been blotted out
\nin the Blood of the Lamb.
\nBe to them a Mother of Perpetual Help,
\nready at every moment to assist them in their needs,
\nboth spiritual and material,
\nso that with you, they may magnify the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
\nWhose mercy is from age to age on those who fear Him,
\nand Who, even in our day, does wonders for His lowly servants. Amen.<\/p>\n
