\nI adore Thee who art present here before me.
\nI adore Thee with all the love of my heart.
\nI adore Thee humbly.
\nI adore Thee in faith.
\nI adore Thee because Thou art God ever worthy of all adoration,
\nand because Thou hast called me to adore Thee
\nin this the Sacrament of Thy Redeeming Love.
\nHere is Thy Blessed Passion,
\nhere Thy immolated Flesh,
\nhere Thy Precious Blood,
\nhere Thy holy and glorious wounds,
\nhere Thy pierced side,
\nhere Thy Sacred Heart all-burning with love,
\nhere Thy merciful priesthood exercised eternally on behalf of poor sinners,
\nhere Thy adorable Face, so humiliated and disfigured in Thy bitter sufferings,
\nand now so ineffably radiant and divinely beautiful.
\nAll of this I adore
\nso often as I bow low before the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
\nI adore Thee to thank Thee, insofar as I am able,
\nfor all the benefits that flow from this Most Holy Sacrament
\nand, in particular, for those graces of purity, healing, and holiness
\nthat Thou reservest here for Thy priests.
\nAll that Thou givest Thy priests, beloved Lord Jesus,
\nredounds to Thy glory, because through them, as through “other selves” of Thine,
\nThou dost sanctify and speak to souls.
\nThrough Thy priests Thou prolongest Thy saving sacrifice in the world
\nfrom the rising of the sun to the setting thereof.
\nThrough thy priests Thou givest pardon to the sinner,
\nhealing to the sick,
\nhope to the despondent,
\nand peace to those whose hearts are troubled.
\nI adore Thee, too, to make reparation
\nfor those who do not adore Thee present in this the Sacrament of Thy Love.
\nI adore Thee in reparation for those priests of Thine who,
\nthough charged with the Sacred Mysteries of Thy Body and Blood,
\nhave lost all sense of wonder, and rarely remain, freely and willingly,
\nbefore Thy Eucharistic Face, close to Thy Eucharistic Heart.
\nI adore Thee, O Silent Word, in reparation for the noise and lack of reverence
\nthat so often fills Thy sanctuaries,
\nand for the indifference and neglect that has befallen Thee
\nin so many tabernacles where Thou art present, but forsaken.
\nI adore Thee, O Lamb of God, in reparation for my own innumerable sins
\nand for the sins of my brother priests,
\ntrusting utterly in Thy boundless mercy
\nand in Thy readiness to restore by Thy grace whatever we have lost by sin.
\nI adore Thee, Radiant Splendour of the Father, because in approaching Thee,
\nI approach Thy Father,
\nand because in adoring Thee
\nI glorify Thy Father Who so loved the world
\nthat He sent Thee into it,
\nthat by Thy Sacrifice all creation might be cleansed
\nand all things made new.
\nI adore Thee, Victim and Priest,
\nbegging Thee to unite me to Thy own oblation.
\nDraw me to Thy Open Heart by the action of Thy Holy Spirit,
\nthat through Thee, and with Thee, and in Thee,
\nI may pass already from before this altar
\nwhere I contemplate Thee hidden beneath the sacramental veils
\ninto the glory of Thy Kingdom
