I had the joy of going there on pilgrimage last October 16th for the feast of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nO Heart of God\u2019s Eternal Word,<br \/>\nCreation\u2019s origin and end:<br \/>\nHow great the mystery of your love<br \/>\nTo make of man, mere dust, your friend.<\/p>\n<p>O Heart of flesh, which has sustained<br \/>\nThe wound we on ourselves inflict:<br \/>\nHow great the mystery of your love<br \/>\nOutpoured on us the blind and sick.<\/p>\n<p>O Heart of Jesus, strong and sure,<br \/>\nObedient to the bitter end:<br \/>\nHow great the mystery of your love<br \/>\nTo suffer Golgotha\u2019s torment.<\/p>\n<p>O Sacred Heart whose burning love<br \/>\nCraves to set all the world ablaze:<br \/>\nYou yearn for us to share your life:<br \/>\nWhat can we offer but our praise?<\/p>\n<p>O Heart of God the Father\u2019s joy,<br \/>\nO Heart of Christ, the Spirit\u2019s lyre,<br \/>\nWhat else have we in heaven but you,<br \/>\nOur morning praise is all desire.
