God of our fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
\nwho led your martyr Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross
\nto the knowledge of your crucified Son
\nin her imitation of him even unto death,
\ngrant, by her intercession,
\nthat all people may know the Saviour Christ
\nand, through him, come to the vision of you in eternity.
\nThrough our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
\nwho lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

Almighty and ever-living Lord,

Truly it is right and just, our duty and our salvation,
\nalways and everywhere to give you thanks,
\nLord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God,

\ndying not only for his own nation
\nbut to gather all your scattered children into one.
\nChrist\u2019s faithful servant and disciple Saint Teresa Benedicta
\nshared her Master\u2019s destiny with joy,
\nand for the sake of Christ\u2019s name
\nbore hatred and persecution without fear.
\nStrengthened by the Holy Spirit
