This is a sign that, with the feast of the Transfiguration, the Church has entered into a time of fullness, a time that looks for completion.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>BLESSING OF GRAPES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>V. Our help is in the name of the Lord.<br \/>\nR. Who hath made heaven and earth.<br \/>\nV. The Lord be with you.<br \/>\nR. And with thy spirit.<\/p>\n<p>Let us pray.<br \/>\nBless, we beseech Thee, O Lord, this fresh fruit of the vine,<br \/>\nwhich Thou hast graciously brought to full ripeness<br \/>\nwith the dew of heaven, abundant rain, and calm and fair weather.<br \/>\nThou hast given them for our use;<br \/>\ngrant that we may receive them with thanksgiving<br \/>\nin the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the True Vine,<br \/>\nwho liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost,<br \/>\nGod for ever and ever.<br \/>\nR.
