Words from the Desert<\/h1>\nIt has been a long time in planning. Talk of it began a year ago or more. Then the mechanics involved, the microphone, recording, editing… Multiple times in the last few months, the brothers have gathered around the table in the Scriptorium, surrounded by much of Silverstream’s library (but the library is too big to fit in that one room), to record episodes.<\/p>\n
But today, the Monastery of Our Lady of the Cenacle’s new podcast is live.<\/p>\n
Words from the Desert<\/h1>\nWords from the Desert,<\/em> our podcast, is a\u00a0conversation between four Benedictine monks on the Desert Fathers, their lives, and their writings. The monks read through passages in the writings of the Desert Fathers and, drawing upon their experiences and learning in the monastery, discuss them in order to hand on the tradition of the wisdom of the Fathers.<\/p>\n Episodes are scheduled to come out about every other week!<\/p>\n Whatever walk of life you find yourself in, this down-to-earth and simple wisdom is an ever-ancient and ever-new guide to well-being and holiness.<\/p>\n The episodes will be posted on our podcast’s webpage: cenacleosb.podbean.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n It is also available on Apple Podcasts<\/a>, Youtube<\/a>, Spotify<\/a>, and Amazon Music<\/a>, or you can download the Podbean App<\/a> for Android or iPhone.<\/p>\n The first three episodes have already been posted!
