O my God, Trinity whom I adore<\/strong>;
\nhelp me to forget myself entirely that I may be established in You
\nas still and as peaceful as if my soul were already in eternity.
\nMay nothing trouble my peace or make me leave You,
\nO my Unchanging One,
\nbut may each minute carry me further into the depths of Your mystery.
\nGive peace to my soul; make it Your heaven,
\nYour beloved dwelling and Your resting place.
\nMay I never leave You there alone
\nbut be wholly present, my faith wholly vigilant,
\nwholly adoring, and wholly surrendered to Your creative Action. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

O my beloved Christ, crucified by love<\/strong>,
\nI wish to be a bride for Your Heart;
\nI wish to cover You with glory;
\nI wish to love You…even unto death!
\nBut I feel my weakness, and I ask You to “clothe me with Yourself,”
\nto identify my soul with all the movements of Your Soul,
\nto overwhelm me, to possess me, to substitute yourself for me
\nthat my life may be but a radiance of Your Life.
\nCome into me as Adorer, as Restorer, as Savior. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

O Eternal Word, Word of my God<\/strong>,
\nI want to spend my life in listening to You,
\nto become wholly teachable that I may learn all from You.
\nThen, through all nights, all voids, all helplessness,
\nI want to gaze on You always and remain in Your great light.
\nO my beloved Star, so fascinate me that I may not withdraw from Your radiance. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

O consuming Fire, Spirit of Love<\/strong>,
\n“come upon me,” and create in my soul a kind of incarnation of the Word:
\nthat I may be another humanity for Him in which He can renew His whole Mystery. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And You, O Father<\/strong>,
\nbend lovingly over Your poor little creature;
\n“cover her with Your shadow,”
\nseeing in her only the “Beloved in whom You are well pleased.” <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

O my Three, my All<\/strong>,
\nmy Beatitude, infinite Solitude, Immensity in which I lose myself,
\nI surrender myself to You as Your prey.
\nBury Yourself in me that I may bury myself in You
\nuntil I depart to contemplate in Your light
