O Lord, remember David, and all his meekness (Ps 131:1).<br \/>\nCOLLECT<br \/>\nO God, the Saviour of all,<br \/>\nwho sent your bishop Willibrord as a pilgrim for Christ<br \/>\nto proclaim the good news to many peoples<br \/>\nand confirm them in their faith,<br \/>\nhelp us also, we beseech you,<br \/>\nto witness to your steadfast love by word and deed<br \/>\nso that your Church may increase and grow strong in holiness.<br \/>\nThrough our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,<br \/>\nwho lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,<br \/>\nGod, forever and ever.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nGENERAL INTERCESSIONS<br \/>\nFor the Church in Holland and throughout the world;<br \/>\nthat she may rejoice in the harvest sown<br \/>\nby Saint Willibrord and by all those who, like him,<br \/>\nconsider everything as loss for the sake of Christ,<br \/>\nto the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.<br \/>\nFor the leaders of Europe and of all nations;<br \/>\nthat they may open their eyes<br \/>\nto the wisdom and light of the Gospel,<br \/>\nand so set their feet on the road to peace,<br \/>\nto the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.<br \/>\nFor those who have suffered the loss<br \/>\nof family, homeland, language, and culture;<br \/>\nfor those mourning the death of loved ones;<br \/>\nand for those grieving the loss of things precious and dear to them;<br \/>\nthat they may be granted the supreme good of knowing Christ<br \/>\nin whom every loss is gain,<br \/>\nto the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us.
