\nMR
\nHail , Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you;
\nblessed are you among women,
\nand blessed is fruit of your womb (cf. Lk 1:28, 42).
\nCOLLECT
\nPour forth your grace into our hearts,
\nwe beseech you, O Lord,
\nso that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ your Son
\nwas made known by the message of an Angel,
\nmay by his passion and cross
\nbe brought to the glory of his resurrection.
\nThrough the same our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
\nwho lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
\nGod, forever and ever.<\/p>\n


\nGENERAL INTERCESSIONS
\nThat Christians everywhere,
\ninstructed by the teachings of the Popes and the experience of the saints,
\nmay acknowledge with joy
\nthat the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary remains
\nin this third millennium a path of contemplation,
\na weapon against heresy, and a pledge of peace,
\nto the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.
\nThat through the prayer of the Rosary
\nthe Church may be defended in our day, as she was in the past,
\nagainst her enemies visible and invisible,

\nThat Christian leaders of nations
\nmay be inspired to take up the humble prayer of the Rosary
\nto implore peace for the world,

\nThat by the intercession of Our Lady of Victories,
\nthe Queen of the Most Holy Rosary,
\nthe plotting of terrorists may be foiled,
\nand the violence of armies quelled,

\nThat the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary
\nmay be healing to the sick,
\nsolace to those who sorrow,
\nfreedom for captives,
\nand a final comfort for the dying,

\nThat it may be given us to persevere in the prayer of the Most Holy Rosary
\nuntil the joy of the Virgin Mary becomes our joy,
\nher light our light,
\nher sorrow our sorrow,
\nand her glory our glory,

\nIn me is all grace of the way and of the truth;
\nin me is all hope of life and of virtue.
\nLike a rose planted on the rivers
\nI have borne fruit (Sir 24:25; 39:17).
\nPRAYER OVER THE OFFERINGS
\nLord, we beseech you cause us to be fittingly prepared
\nfor offering up these gifts,
\nand grant that we may so recall
\nthe mysteries of your only\u2013begotten Son,
\nas to become worthy of those things which he has promised.
\nWho lives and reigns forever and ever.
\nPREFACE
\nIt is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
\nalways and everywhere to give you thanks,
\nLord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God,
\nand in this celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
\nto magnify you with worthy praise.
\nReceiving your Word in her immaculate heart,
\nshe was found worthy of conceiving him in her virginal womb,
\nand by giving birth to the Creator,
\nshe nurtured the Church at her very beginning.
\nStanding beneath the cross,
\nshe accepted the testament of divine charity,
\nand accepted as her children
\nall men born to life from above
\nby the death of her Son.
\nShe joined her supplication to the prayers of the disciples
\nas they awaited the fulfillment of your Promise
\nand so became the pattern of the Church at prayer.
\nRaised to the glory of heaven,
\nshe accompanies the pilgrim Church with a mother’s love,
\nand graciously protects her steps toward the homeland,
\nuntil the glorious advent of the Day of the Lord.
\nAnd so, with the all the Saints and Angels,
\nwe praise you all together and ceaselessly sing:

\nBehold, you shall conceive and shall bring forth a Son,
\nand you shall call his name Jesus (Lk 1:31).
\nPRAYER AFTER COMMUNION
\nWe beseech you, O Lord our God,
\nthat we who, in this sacrament,
\nproclaim the death and resurrection of your Son,
\nmay become companions in his passion,
\nand so be found worth of sharing also
\nin his consolation and glory.
