Bless the Lord, O you his angels,

O God, who have constituted
\nin a wonderful order the ministries of angels and men:
\nbe pleased to grant that our life here on earth
\nmay be protected by those who stand in readiness
\nto serve you in heaven.
\nThrough our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
\nwho lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
\nGod, forever and ever.<\/p>\n

GENERAL INTERCESSIONS<\/p>\n

That the Church throughout the world
\nmay be assisted by the holy angels
\nin praising God,
\nin proclaiming the Good News,
\nand in comforting the afflicted,
\nto the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.<\/p>\n

The world leaders
\nand those serving in the armed forces
\nmay be enlightened,guided and protected by the hosts of heaven;
\nand that Saints Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel
\nmay intercede for the peace of the world,
\nto the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.<\/p>\n

That the weak and the vulnerable may be protected by Saint Michael;
\nthat travelers may be kept from all harm
\nunder the care of Saint Raphael;
\nthat those who sorrow may be visited by the joy of Saint Gabriel,

That we, called to imitate the angels,
\nmay find in the Eucharistic Body of the Crucified and Risen Jesus,

Almighty and ever-living God,

\nin worship before your throne.

It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
\nalways, here and everywhere to give you thanks,
\nLord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God.
\nAs the glorious Lord of the universe,
\nyou give life by your Word to bodiless creatures
\nto whom you allot the happy portion
\nof surrounding you as an everlasting crown.
\nWhile the rebellious angels were cast into hell,
\nthe immense host of angels and archangels
\nsing ceaselessly the hymn of your faithfulness and love.
