Urgent Appeal Update

We are profoundly grateful for the donations that continue to come in. No amount is too small and, I must add, no amount is too large! A few very large donations (like the one of €100,000.00 that came from an anonymous benefactor on the Continent earlier this week) will bring us quickly closer to our goal. Here are a few pictures of the priory church waiting to be renovated and reconsecrated to the glory of God! If you want to know why our appeal is so urgent, please read this.

Here is the space that, fully renovated, will become the sanctuary of the priory church. (The tableau of the Sacred Heart was left by the good Visitation Nuns who lived at Silverstream until 2011.) There will be transepts for the faithful to the right and left of the sanctuary. The monastic choir will be in the body of the church.

A view of the right side of the nave of the priory church. The monastic choir will be in the nave with choirstalls arranged in the traditional way. The little alcove will accommodate an altar for private Masses. There is a similar alcove on the opposite side of the nave.
This is the entrance to the priory church opening onto the garden. The circular pattern affixed to the wall indicates the place of a future window.

Here is the other alcove destined to contain an altar for private Masses. Do you not see all the potential here? God willing, and with your help, we will be able to purchase Silverstream and set about renovating the priory church.
