A Eucharistic Intercession

This prayer may be a suitable intercession for souls in need of a deeper experience of Our Lord’s real presence in the Sacrament of His Love.
Beloved Lord Jesus,
I adore Thee truly present here.
I desire to love Thee as Thou wouldst have me love Thee.
Who can describe the Mystery of Thy presence here,
O pure Victim, O holy Victim, O immaculate Victim?
And who can comprehend Thy glorious priesthood,
O Thou who livest here
even as Thou livest in heaven,
interceding for us before Thy Father’s face?
Here Thou art all poor and surrendered into the hands of men.
Here Thou art all weak and vulnerable.
Here, Thou, the all-powerful and infinite God
conceal Thy majesty beneath the appearances
of a fragile piece of bread.
I look upon Thy Sacrament
and I see nothing more.
I look upon Thy Sacrament
and I see the near-transparent whiteness
that is the veil beneath which Thou hidest
the splendour of Thy Face
and the pulsating rhythm of Thy Heart.
Have pity on N.
and on all those who see
without being pierced by the rays that shine
from Thy Eucharistic Face.
Let N. and all who approach Thy sacramental presence
be touched by the flames of Divine Love
that escape from Thy Eucharistic Heart.
Let no one on earth,
no one in Thy Church,
not one of Thy priests,
not one of the souls consecrated to Thee,
not one poor sinner
remain indifferent, or cold,
or without compunction,
and gratitude,
and burning love
in the adorable presence of so great a Mystery.
O hidden God,
O living Bread,
O Jesus, Son of Mary.
