Mountains of the Lord, bless the Lord!

Today, in the company of my Biondi relatives, I had the wonderful experience of going to the summit of Monte Acero in Faicchio, Province of Benevento. The natural beauty was stupendous. I enter into the festival of the Ascension of the Lord with a whole new understanding of why He chose to leave the earth from the summit of the Mount of Olives. It is extraordinary to look down through the clouds and see the villages, fields, vineyards, and olive groves below.
