Road Outside Silverstream Priory

Road outside Silverstream Priory.jpg

Brother Benedict took this photo of the road outside our new home, Silverstream Priory, on the very day of our arrival in Ireland.

Dear Father Mark,
You'll have a lot of sky there, light, and cool clouds (hopefully less dramatic than in Oklahoma in the spring)! Looks lovely!
Thanks be to God for your safe arrival,
Please remember us here (in the US),

The blades of grass and sky reverberate with the great cloud of witnesses...that accompany us along the hard pebbly road!

Dear Dom Kirby,

We continue to pray for the success of this venture in accord with His Will from here in Texas.

Do please keep in your prayers. I was reminded on Friday evening, hearing another Benedictine speak, that it is through holy monks and holy families that the world and the Church have always recovered from whatever afflict them.

What a lovely photograph. Thank you for sharing. And we look forward to the resumption of your various posts (Letters to Novice Oblates, Journal of a Priest, etc.); they are a source of much rich spiritual food.

Under the Mercy,
Chris Cain

Dear Father Prior
Congratulations. We continue to pray for you. I´m posting a follow up in my blog about your move.

Dear Dom Mark,
We are so happy you have arrived safely and are settling in...and what beautiful countryside! May it be a constant help and inspiration to you! My family is continuing to keep you and your apostolate in our prayers, and are looking forward to more posts from you for Vultus Christi. May Blessed Columba Marmion bless you and keep you.
Pax in Lumine,
F.R. Maich, oblate osb
