Liturgical Vesture

In synergy with a group of Spiritual Mothers of Priests of the Diocese of Tulsa, the Monastery of Our Lady of the Cenacle has launched The Guild of Saints Lydia and Dorcas to provide priests with liturgical vesture marked by good craftsmanship, materials of quality, and tasteful design.

This Past Week's Workshop

The founding group of workers completed their first project -- chasuble, stoles, maniples, burse, chalice veil, dalmatic, and tunicle -- this past week. They worked every day from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Tulsa under the expert direction of master liturgical tailors, Brother Augustine Kelly, O.F.M., Conv. and Reverend Father Martin Farrell, O.P.

Brother Seraphim, of the Monastery of Our Lady of the Cenacle, also participated in the workshop. Here are some photos of the week's progress.

Brother Seraphim models the unfinished chasuble in gold damask with a yoke and column in wine-coloured brocade. The yoke has yet to be sewn to the ground fabric.

Father - is there a way in which one may contact the Guild?

Thank you.

The Casa Santa Lidia heartily approves! O:)
