Miracle of the Sacred Thorn

Italian News services have just announced that once again, at 16:10 (Italian time) the miracle of the Sacra Spina has occurred. When Good Friday coincides with the Feast of the Annunciation on 25 March, the Sacred Thorn from the Crown of Our Lord Jesus Christ, kept in the cathedral of Andria, changes its colour and drops of the Precious Blood appear on it. The miracle last happened when the two liturgical days coincided in 2005. The same coincidence of Good Friday with the Feast of the Annunciation on 25 March will not happen again until 2157. Similar miracles happen in other places where a thorn from the Crown of Our Lord Jesus Christ is venerated.
