ENTRANCE ANTIPHON
MR
Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I have called out to you all the day,
for you, O Lord, are sweet and gentle,
and plenteous in mercy to all who call upon you (Ps 85:3-4).

ACT OF PENITENCE
Brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins,
that we may be ready to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
You live forever in the presence of the Father.
Kyrie, eleison.
You are near to us whenever we call upon you.
Christe, eleison.
You make us clean by the word of your mouth.
Kyrie, eleison.
May Almighty God have mercy on us,
and lead us, with our sins forgiven,
into eternal life.
COLLECT
O God of mighty powers, to whom belongs all that is good,
graft in our hearts the love of your name,
and so strengthen in us the bond of religion
that you may nourish what is good in us,
and, with ever-watchful care, keep safe what you have nourished.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, forever and ever.
GENERAL INTERCESSIONS
For the holy Church of God throughout the world;
that she may be blessed with every good endowment
and sustained by every perfect gift from above,
coming down from the Father of lights,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.
For the leaders of nations;
that they may attend to orphans and widows in their affliction,
to the aged poor, and to those who have no one to defend them,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.
For the sick, for families in difficulty, and for all who suffer;
that they may cry to the Lord out of the depths of their distress,
and experience his presence in this valley of tears,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.
For ourselves;
that we may receive with meekness the implanted Word,
and so practice before our God and Father
a religion that is compassionate and gentle, pure and undefiled,
to the Lord we pray: Christ, hear us. R. CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY HEAR US.
COLLECT AT THE GENERAL INTERCESSIONS
Father of lights
with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change,
who of old spoke through your servant Moses
giving statutes and ordinances to your chosen people,
to endow them with wisdom and understanding,
and who speak today through your beloved Son,
calling all nations to the religion of the Gospel,
to mercy and to purity of heart;
grant that we may receive with meekness
the Word implanted within us now,
and, at length, live forever in the vision of your glory.
Through Christ our Lord.
OFFERTORY ANTIPHON
GR
O Lord, look down to help me.
Let them be confounded and ashamed together,
that seek after my soul to take it away.
O Lord, look down to help me (Ps 39:14–15).
PRAYER OVER THE OFFERINGS
May this sacred offering, O Lord,
ever bring upon us your healing blessing,
that what is done in mystery
may be accomplished in power
Through Christ our Lord.
PREFACE
It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks,
Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God,
through Christ our Lord.
By the mystery of his death and resurrection
Christ has accomplished a wonderful work.
From the yoke of slavery to sin and death
he has called us to share his glory
and receive the name of chosen race and royal priesthood,
holy nation and people for your own possession.
He bids us everywhere proclaim your mighty works
for you, Father, have summoned us forth from darkness
into your own marvelous light.
Through Christ the choirs of angels
worship forever with joy before your majesty;
with them, we pray you, join our voices,
in this, their hymn of joyful supplication:
COMMUNION ANTIPHON
MR
O Lord, how great is the depth of the kindness which you have shown to those who love you (Ps 30:20).
Or, in the GR:
O Lord, I will be mindful of your justice alone. You have taught me, O God, from my youth; and so, unto old age and grey hairs, O God, forsake me not (Ps 70:16-18).
PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION
Refreshed with Bread from your heavenly table, O Lord,
we pray that this, the nourishment of charity,
may so strengthen our hearts
as to stir us up to serve you
in our brothers and sisters.
Through Christ our Lord.
